You will need to research more than one side of the specific issue ( My Research Ideas is about the copyright issue of downloading Canadian Netflix pirated movies.) in order to fully understand it and to have your research compilation have validity. At the same time, note that the issue must be manageable in size and scope (this is a small research compilation, not a book or a PhD dissertation!).
Note, though, that while you will need to develop a research question(yellow highlighted on page1) to help guide your investigation, this assignment does NOT require you to develop a unique thesis statement as a traditional research paper would. You are simply gathering (compiling) and synthesizing existing information to allow you to delve more deeply and better understand an issue of particular interest to you.
