Following are the steps for finding Agricultural Productivity;
1. calculate the total employment in the period t, where t refers to the year.
Total employment in t= % of Total employment as Total Population in t × Total Population in t.
2. The number of workers employed in the agriculture sector is computed as follows:
No. Of workers employed in the agricultural sector in_t= Employment in the agriculture sector as a % of Total employment in_t × Total employment in number in_t .
3. ” Agricultural Value Added Per Worker” which is a measure of ” Agricultural Productivity” is computed as follows
[Agricultural Value Added Per Worker in t = Agricultural value Added in_t /No. Of Workers Employed in Agriculture Sector in_t ].
