After reading Chapter 2 “The Origins of Public Speaking” by Peter A. DeCaro, Ph.D. , in (4) pages explain, chronicle, and/or describe the origins of public speaking by writing a research paper answering the following questions:
o  Identify the historical events that led up to democracy and recognize persuasion and public speaking as art forms in Athens, Greece.
o  Explain Aristotle’s descriptions of rhetoric and public speaking
o  Describe the influence of the Elocutionary Movement on public speaking.
o  Describe the restoration of public speaking in the United States.
The paper must use APA citations including in-text citations.
The research paper must have a cover page and a reference page.
The Reference page include a book, a journal article and a newspaper article using the Miami Dade College Library about the origins of public speaking.
You must cite to the book, newspaper article or journal article in the text of your research paper. The reference page must also include a website about public speaking.
You do not have to cite to the website in the research paper.
