A compare and contrast paper on a story from the Decameron Project called A Blue

A compare and contrast paper on a story from the Decameron Project called A Blue Sky Like This by Mona Awad and Angels in America by Tony Kushner. Books that are used are the “Decameron Project 29 New Stories from the Pandemic” by the New York Times Magazine specifically using the story by Mona Awad “A Blue Sky Like This” and the Book/Play “Angels in America” “A GAY FANTASIA ON NATIONAL THEMES” Tony Kushner revised and complete edition. MLA citations.
Angels and America vs Blue Sky- Perception should not matter when there’s life to appreciate. We see in Blue Sky her husband is dying of COVID and his wife is unable to see him, so we get these memories of them going to a cave appreciating life, but in Angels in America we see Roy care so much about what others think that he forgets life. Willing to misdiagnose himself and die because he’s embarrassed by what others think, not caring about his life when in Blue Sky we see them truly cherish life as it’s slowly being taken away from Marie’s husband.
Above is just a prompt to try and use when comparing the short story in Decameron Project vs Angels in America. You by no means have to compare the two with this, but figured I’d put it in in case it helps.
