Discussion on what a Chicana or Chicano is. A Latina or Latino. What is Hispanic? What is the difference between these terms? Why is the “x” becoming popular?
(in Spanish ending in an “a” signifies feminine and an “o” masculine. also it automatically switches to masculine for they, third person plural, if there is at least one male. it can also be referring to the gender of a noun in the form of an adjective, like in “musica latina.” music is feminine in Spanish, whether a female or male are performing it.
