1. Do a single case study, using at least an AB design. Pick a client. Review the research literature on the client’s target clinical issue. Use that literature to guide the assessment and intervention plan so both conform with best practices. Using the information from the first-year research courses, decide upon multiple measures to baseline and then track client progress towards the goals in the treatment plan.
The client needs to be referred as John Doe and the client is a 29 year old/white/single/male/ US Army Afghanistan War Veteran.
Client is being seen for PTSD, anxiety and substance use of alcohol.
Always refer as client and not patient.
The focused intervention will be CBT, CPT and PE. Attached is the first page that can be used for the Lit Review. Please elaborate on it and keep it to only 3 interventions for review.
Lit Review: start by stating in the beginning paragraph that there are a number of interventions shown to be effective in PTSD. Then state what they are. After that, provide a subheading for each intervention.
Use attached PCL-M as assessment tool to measure progress and it will be measured every 3 sessions.
