1.  475 words – on why I had a gap year and why my GPA was LOW.
2.  350 words – What have you done to make your school or your community a better place? 
For the first one, I need you to help me prove that I’m capable of learning and getting high scores in class but because I’m on a professional Ice hockey team, I was asked to skip class and use most of the afterschool times to practice, therefore, I had a bad grade in school.
For my Outside school activities: I was in a USPHL level Hockey team and had to travel around to play our matches, the positive side is that we got a good result of second place for hockey but a low GPA.
I tried 5-6 times to apply for an SAT, but all were canceled in New York.
Back in China, because I have a low GPA so I took a TOEFL test and got a 109. The reason I took a gap year is that I’m more willing to experience a campus life rather than online education. so on…..
For the second one,  Because I’m in China you can write about, me teaching kids in primary school English in my community for free. Because English is an international language.
I studied in international schools since kindergarten
I am good at English      fluent  in speaking
Chinese pay more attention to theory than practice
I want to propagandize the importance of spoken English
WHAT DID I DO?
I gathered my friends from international schools to help me.
I placed it in my house and I had English books that they can use.
from start, only a few kids came and more came afterward.
win-win for me and the community.
even now my sister’s schoolmate comes to my home every Friday to read books and practice oral English
