Support each point by connecting it to a theory from the book or an outside source. Use statistics as well to back up your point. Consequences can be physical, biological, psychological or social.
Next, please discuss if you think the children in the film experienced toxic stress? Why or why not?
2. Prompt: Please watch the video from Harvard University called How Child Neglect Harms Brain Development in Children, which is posted in the week 4 tab. After watching the video, summarize what you learned in one paragraph. Next, consider what you would like to know more about regarding child neglect and/or interventions to combat the negative consequences of neglect. Then find one article about the topic (neglect/interventions) and post a summary of what you learned by reading the article. Don’t forget to give the name of the authors and where you found the article.
