Just wanted to offer some feedback/Guidance on your WBA assignment. As Toby already mentioned, you have a lot of good facts to give an understanding of the issue. A lot of these facts seem to come from a Jones the grocer perspective, and there is some repetition with regards the outcome (Biometric System).

It would be of benefit to see and hear it from your own perspective too and to detail the thought process you went through as a senior manager and the input taken and considered from your team.

Also, if you can detail some of the other options that came into consideration before deciding on the chosen path/resolution

I feel that it would also be good to see at least one more problem solving tool being used to shoe how yourself and the senior leadership team came to the conclusion and resolution of the issue. Your Drill down analysis is good. Could you do a “Ishikawa” (Fihbone) analysis to show the process in more detail perhaps?

It is really helpful to review the assessment criteria on pages 122 & 123 of the workbook as this gives you the guidance and requirements for what is expected in each section of your WBA.

Just for ease of reference I have attached the 2 sessions delivered on MDP2. I would give special attention to page 15 of Problem Solving and remind you that we would like to see 2 of these tools used if possible. And also pages 30 – 31 which shows you a great decision making tool which you can use to frame the approach to finalise the WBA.
