This is a graduate course and students will be expected to research and write pa

This is a graduate course and students will be expected to research and write papers summarizing in their own words what they have found on current topics from the weekly readings. Research is a theoretical review of relevant literature and application of findings in the literature to a topic related to a specific industry, field, or business problem.
Choose a research topic from the chapter readings ( Topic – Prioritizing Stakeholders, Power and Influence, Power and Knowledge)
Research/find a minimum at least four (4), preferably five (5) or more, different peer-reviewed articles on your topic from the University of the Cumberlands Library online business database. The article(s) must be relevant and from a peer-reviewed source. While you may use relevant articles from any time frame, current/published within the last five (5) years are preferred. Using literature that is irrelevant or unrelated to the chosen topic will result in a point reduction.
Write a four (4) to five (5) page double spaced paper in APA format discussing the findings on your specific topic in your own words. Note – paper length does not include cover page, abstract, or references page(s).
Structure your paper as follows:Cover page
Overview describing the importance of the research topic to current business and professional practice in your own words.
Purpose of Research should reflect the potential benefit of the topic to the current business and professional practice and the larger body of research.
Review of the Literature summarized in your own words. Note that this should not be a “copy and paste” of literature content, nor should this section be substantially filled with direct quotes from the article. A literature review is a summary of the major points and findings of each of the selected articles (with appropriate citations). Direct quotations should be used sparingly. Normally, this will be the largest section of your paper (this is not a requirement; just a general observation).
Practical Application of the literature. Describe how your findings from the relevant research literature can shape, inform, and improve current business and professional practice related to your chosen topic.
Conclusion in your own words
References formatted according to APA style requirements

You are expected to utilize class materials to generate your answers, not plagiarism generating software like AI or Chat GPT, you are not expected to use internet searches to find these answers. You should use your book and class materials. Work that is not your own will not be eligible for full credit. Answer the following questions below to answer in a short paragraph or two, a list, or a chart. Each answer is worth up to 10 points, You may submit files and images via Canvas OR bring hard copies to class. You need to complete all parts of all four questions for credit. Please type as much as of your work as possible (okay to submit photos of handwritten squares, charts math, etc, as long as it is neat and legible) and make neat charts if applicable
Please answer the following question:
6 Primates: If you are observing a skeleton with the following traits, how would you classify this species? After identifying a species, or at least a genus, list the most likely primary mode of locomotion, and dietary pattern. Be as specific as possible, given what you know.
1 PRIMATE 1
1 The dental formula is 2:1:3:3, the dental arcade is V-shaped
2 The skeleton is very small (approximately10 inches/25cm). The tail is thin, but longer than the body.
3 The foot/ankle bones and leg bones are elongated relative to the arms.
4 The eye orbits are not fully enclosed, but there is bone behind the eye (more than a post orbital bar) and the eyes are very large
5 The teeth have sharp cusps on the molars and premolars
2 PRIMATE 2
1 The dental formula is 2:1:2:3, the dental arcade is U-shaped
2 The skull has heavy brow ridges, and the post cranial skeleton is about 5 feet or 1.5m, there is no tail present.
3 The leg bones are longer than the arms (intermembral index is around 70), the ankle bones are short and round
4 The eye orbits are fully enclosed, there is a boney ear tube, and a low forehead
5 The cranium is between 700-1000cc in volume
3 PRIMATE 3
1 The dental formula is 2:1:3:3
2 The size is somewhere between the first and second primate above
3 The arms and legs are of nearly equal length
4 The tail is muscular and curved, with a finger-like pad at the end
5 The habitat is arboreal
4 PRIMATE 4
1 The dental formula is 2:1:2:3
2 The size is between primates 2 and 3
3 The arms are longer than the legs, and the toes and fingers and toes are long and curved
4 The brain is larger than primates 1 and 3, but smaller than primate 2
5 The canines are very large, but the molar teeth are worn smooth. The incisors are broad.

For the scenario below, write a business memorandum (at least 500 words in length), providing a recommendation and describing the solution approach. A sample business memo is attached below.
Sally is self-employed. She makes cookies out of her own home, and sells these cookies through her website. Recently, a severe storm went through the area that Sally lives in, and caused some damage to her home. Sally was forced to use some funds from her cookie business to pay for the needed home repairs. At this point, Sally only has enough money to make ten-dozen more cookies, which will likely not be enough quantity to produce enough profit for her to buy more ingredients to make more cookies. Sally knows she could generate more cash on hand if she generated more advance-orders, but she also knows that she would have to advertise more. Advertising more might force her to use the remainder of the cash on hand she currently has. Sally needs to quickly decide what to do.

View the presentation on capitalism (links) and the reading on the impact of the fluctuating gasoline prices on the trucking industry. Compose an essay that will integrate these various concepts. The theme of the paper should center on how fluctuating diesel (fuel) prices will influence the growth of capitalism and impact the gap between current and future goals. The discussion needs to address how the future planning, plans and capabilities of an enterprise will be impacted. For your enterprise, you may either use a trucking industry enterprise or an enterprise from another industry of your choice. Through this paper, the reader will be able to see how the fluctuation in fuel prices can influence financial, physical and structural capital. As part of your paper, you need to develop a frame of reference that will be the basis for the remainder of the paper. This frame of reference should include both an internal and external perspective of the situation and should be developed in the form of a SWOT or QFD analysis. You will be using this paper again in week six to develop a problem-solving case analysis based on these readings. You should have a minimum of 2-3 pages (1 inch margins) of discussion (single space). This does not include your title and reference page. Be sure to include the following:
An introduction providing background information on the subject and the content of the paper
The frame of reference which forms the basis of the remainder of the paper
Your understanding of the readings and the Essentials of Capitalism presentation
The SWOT analysis
A conclusion summarizing the key points of your paper
