Early Draft
This draft will include your introductory paragraph, the three original bibliographic entries in MLA format.
Final Draft
This draft will include your polished introductory paragraph, the three bibliographic entries revised, and three new bibliographic entries (total of six ) in MLA format.
Make sure to significantly revise all your bibliographic entries before turning in your final drafts.
Final drafts that have not been significantly revised will be lowered one letter grade.
Project Descriiption/Assignment

2. Explains the major concepts
3. Introduces the historical context and
4. States your research question
2. Six bibliographic entries of 200 words each on your chosen topic or historical figure accompanied by an appropriate MLA or APA citation. Three of your sources must be published between 2000-2010 and three of your sources must be published between 2011-2022. Each entry will include an analysis of the article’s rhetorical situation, succinct summary of the ideas contained in the source, and discussion of each article’s historical context. Each entry should consist of two paragraphs. One paragraph summarizes the source. One paragraph connects the source to the research question and discusses the credibility of the source.
Purpose
In Project 2, you will develop a research process, learn that academic conversations occur within a historical and rhetorical context, and learn how to trace these conversations over time. Your audience for this paper is an audience of academic peers who is less knowledgeable about the subject.
Actions
and guidelines listed above.
Terms You Should Know

Literature review for my dissertation to accompany my Comprehensive exam. My Comps paper follows female students’ sense of belonging in sports-related programs. The dissertation literature review should build upon my comps project and discuss black women’s sense of belonging in sport spaces. The complete dissertation will follow women in sports (coaches, administrators, women in professional sports, etc.), and I will interview women to get their perspectives and experiences in the industry. I have included an outline for the literature review, but please feel free to make changes as needed! I have also included a list of some sources I have identified as potentially helpful.

For my writing portfolio I need to have two papers written. I have attached a link, called writing portfolio expectations where you will be able to read the guidelines and expectations. I need paper to which is an argumentative/persuasive, essay and paper three which is a research paper. For the argumentative topic I would like “Why professional women sports deserve more pay” (if u have a better title you can use that). for this, I need a few scholarly reliable articles to help my case and you can also compare what the men make. For the research paper I have attached three articles for you to use the topic is “Why the participation of sports is beneficial” (again you can creat the title). Please look over the checklist and expectations for the paper.(: Thank you!!!
Not only in sport, but in your life’s journey, you are endlessly faced with choi
Not only in sport, but in your life’s journey, you are endlessly faced with choices. What strategy or plan do you apply to those choices? Perhaps some are significant aspirations that without a detailed road map, can never be realized. This week we have studied how to create that road map, goal-setting, the selection of an objective you wish to achieve. As you have learned from Latham & Locke groundbreaking research, goals are “the object or aim of an action, for example, to attain a specific standard of proficiency, usually within a specified time limit.” Goals can be great motivators, especially as one begins obtaining pieces of the goal. During this time, individuals are realizing that they are learning, getting better, their self-esteem grows. However, goals can also be frustrating and self-defeating when not achieved. As a result, you have studied the key process necessary to insure goal-setting works: 1. Establish a long-term goal, 2. Create a series of short-term goals that are steps to achieving this long term goal, 3. Goals must be specific, measurable, challenging, but obtainable, and participative where possible. Lastly, but often overlooked which causes the plan to fail, 5. Process goals must be included in the short-term goal selection. Through measuring the process, one calibrates the amount of learning, and if a course correction is needed before it is too late.
Creating and setting goals are key steps but achieving them can be much harder than expected. This is where applying a comprehensive plan will make the difference between achievement and frustration.
After reviewing the following website:
https://positivepsychology.com/goal-setting-exercises/
Design a 4-5 page Goal-setting program for an individual of your choice. This individual (a real live individual, not made up) does not have to be a specific sport athlete, examples can include fitness programs, and military preparation. However, the skill of choice must address learning a movement skill of substance (not brushing your teeth). Learning movements must be a key component of the goals. Meaning, graduation from college with a specific degree does not fit the requirement for this assignment. You must apply at least one tool such as a diary, poster, etc. explained in the required website above.
First: Select an individual and explain their situation and illustrate the meaningfulness of the long-term goal you have chosen.
Second: Complete the attached goal-setting work sheet and include with your paper as part of the 4-5 pages.
Third: Create a 4-5 page paper (Title and Reference page does not count in the 4-5 requirement) that explains in detail your goal setting plan, including the “motivational tools” you will apply. Of particular importance is showing how the short-term goals are linked to the long-term goal and specifically how you will measure each short term goal. You must have at least 4 short-term goals, and two of these goals must be process goals.
Your paper must be formatted according to APA standards, including a title page, margins, and documentation. APA in-text documentation and 5 end references are required, including scholarly peer reviewed references.

The paper should be (a minimum of) 3 pages in length, plus a Title Page and Reference Page for a minimum total of 5 pages.
First, identify an important Issue related to sport psychology and describe that issue in detail during the first half of the paper. Then, in the paper’s second half, analyze the issue and suggest solutions. Analysis requires breaking a subject, issue, or event into its constituent elements, so that the assumptions or components are made clear and the relationships between them are made explicit.
Thus, through the analysis paper, the student demonstrates comprehension of the material being analyzed. In that Sport Psychology is interdisciplinary, you can borrow topics and subjects from other areas in which you have an interest, but we must be sure the topic relates to sports psychology.
Attached are sources you can/preferred to use.
You may also use the Internet for some of your material as long as you access scholarly resources and not popular media such as Sports Illustrated, Psychology Today, opinion .com sites or blogs, About.com sites or others that do summarizing for readers, abstracts without reading the full article, etc. NO WIKIPEDIA articles may be used for these papers or any other writing assignment in this course.
Never use bullet-points in crafting your narratives in the class.
All sources must be APA compliant and listed the “References” or Reference Page pages (not “Works Cited” or “Bibliography” – those aren’t APA format terms, and without the quotation marks) attached to the end of the papers.
You must also cite the material within the body of your paper, using the American Psychological Association (APA) format.
Papers are to be typed and double-spaced using Times New Roman 12-point font throughout, including the Title and Reference Pages. The pages should be full and margins should be no larger than 1″ on all sides. The APA compliant Title and Reference Pages are in addition to the (minimum) three-page length requirement.
