For example, what he or she did for the community, the life(s) he or she touched in a meaningful way, and the like. A eulogy focuses on the positive of a person’s life. You can imagine for your eulogy what others would say about you, for example. You may research eulogies for ideas, but do not use them. OVERVIEW
In this course you will write a paper on an area of Christian counseling that you are interested in researching. The final essay will include scholarly research and biblical integration. There are 3 steps to the essay:
1) Research Paper: Topic Proposal Assignment
2) Research Paper: Annotated Bibliography Assignment
3) Research Paper: Final Assignment
For this assignment, you will submit the Research Paper: Topic Proposal Assignment. You will choose a topic in an area of Christian counseling that you are interested in researching. This is the topic you will use for all 3 assignments listed above. Do not use a paper, a portion of a paper, or topic you have used in previous classes; this will not be accepted.
INSTRUCTIONS
For this Research Paper: Topic Proposal Assignment, you will include the topic you have chosen and a general explanation of the topic/research intent. You have some freedom with the topic options. You will also need to research a Christian counseling theory and Christian counseling techniques that apply to your topic. Include a brief discussion of the theory/theories and technique(s) you plan to research in this Topic Proposal Assignment as well.
The following are required for this Research Paper: Topic Proposal Assignment:
• Page 1 – A title page in current APA format, which includes the topic you have chosen for the paper.
