Address the following in your discussion.
1. Has a doctor ever given you sound nutrition advice?
2. Why do you believe that the majority of the American Population does not come close to eating the recommendations for fruits and vegetables?
3. Do you believe that Dr. Barnard’s recommended five steps the medical community can take to address this lack of knowledge about nutrition will make a difference in the diets of Americans? Explain?

Week 14 discussion. Word document attached with questions.
From the Professor:
The HPAT axis is affected by any stressor: environmental, physiological, neurological- even a stressful thought upregulated the HPAT axis.
Chronic stress may produce subclinical hypothyroidism. Chronic stress decreases the effectiveness of glucocorticoid receptors-rendering them glucocorticoid resistant (similar to insulin resistance) –> upregulating inflammation. Increased inflammation –> ^ Reactive Oxidative Species–> less ATP production in mitochondria. Wonder why patients/clients who have sustained stress also complain of myalgia/arthralgia as well as fatigue??? Chronic stress also results in dysbiosis–> leading to decreased production of healthy neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine–> anxiety /depression. This anxiety/depression then leads to more stress–> more dysbiosis–> less healthy neurotransmitters–> increased anxiety/depression–> and now a downward spiral. Prolonged stress places the body in fight/flight and more glucose is released into the blood stream to travel to the muscles so the patient/client can “run away from the saber tooth tiger”–> leading to hyperglycemia. Prolonged hyperglycemia–> ^^ inflammation.

Final Research design paper. I have attached what I have so far. My paper needs

Final Research design paper.
I have attached what I have so far.
My paper needs to include the following:
1. Introduce the significance of your topic
2. Background and literature review
3. Research questions, hypothesis and study design
4.Expected results and interpretation
5.Discussion on strength, shortness of the study
6.Potential application
7.Question unanswered, future research direction
Most of the details are present.
Please help me organize my original research design paper. I need more background information, discussion on strengths and limitations, and anything else you think my paper needs to ensure the paper details listed are included. You can add info to the paper to complete the final project.
The project is an original research design paper utilizing the sources/references noted.
Summary
The research design including the finalized RQ and hypotheses (and a brief summary of literature review to support the hypothesis), the study design (please make a flowchart* on this), subjects, inclusion & exclusion criteria, diet, treatment or intervention, procedure, variables and measurements, required resources including housing, equipment, human resources, fund, etc. Make sure you will think thoroughly and make a realistic and applicable plan.
PowerPoints to include:
For the presentation, it will be about the key points of your Research Design project to share with the class. You may include the following:
1. Introduction/Background
2.Research Need in the topic based on the literature review, and the Research Question (RQ) you selected for the project, and a hypothesis if applied
3.Methods and research design to address the RQ (with the flowchart),
4.Measurements for variables and your plan to analyze data for the RQ
5.A discussion
Note: You are encouraged to use more visuals, like tables, figures, diagrams (including the flowchart), etc, and use minimum words but present the information.

There are four parts to completing this case study:
Part 1: Healthy Body WeightExamining your energy balance and factors that affect your appetite.Part 2: Breaking Bad HabitsExamining your unhealthy eating behaviors and developing a plan to break them.Part 3: Physical ActivityExamining your level of fitness and developing a plan to increase it.SummarySummarizing your plan for gaining or maintaining a healthy lifestyle. To receive full credit, all answers must be typed and in complete sentences to receive full credit. You will be graded for detail and specific information. Provide details that demonstrate your knowledge of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. Listing, bulleting, or short answers are not acceptable.
Remember to use full sentences and paragraphs when answering all parts. A well-formed paragraph consists of at least three proper sentences. A proper sentence is a complete idea and consists of at least one noun and one verb

Define malnutrition and identify a specific disease that can result from it.
Perform library research about the selected disease, and explain its physiological effects on a person’s body.
Describe the relationship between specific foods/nutrients and the disease. Use the questions below to guide your response.
Does research indicate that a lack of specific foods/nutrients increase a person’s chance of contracting the disease?
Are there specific foods/nutrients that should be avoided by an individual afflicted with the disease?
How do specific foods/nutrients work physiologically within the body to help combat the disease?
Evaluate nutritional recommendations to help combat the disease.
Cite at least 3 credible references and present the resources in APA format on the References page
