I had a field trip with my class few days ago, so now you need to follow the instruction to write a report of it.

PROMPT
In your Midterm Assessment, students will demonstrate competency in articulating shared environmental challenges experienced by individuals and communities on a local, national, and global level. Pick a clear topic that is an environmental issue such as climate change and vulnerable Communities, Industrial Pollution and Public Health, Waste Management and Environmental Racism, and Gentrification and Environmental Justice. The strong essay will include secondary sources that support your scientific articles, news events, documentaries.
It is 7-8 pages in length. Though short in-length, the successful A-paper will be tight in critical analysis and content and include citations from articles read in class. Throughout the class, I will show you examples from my own writing and publications what a tight critical analysis looks like.
At this point, I would create a working word document with the initial prompt above so that you can begin to take notes about environmental justice issues on a global level as elaborated upon in course readings. I also suggest that you take notes by regions in the world whether in class discussions, readings, or in the news. This will help you begin the process of analyzing environmental challenges from an intersectional and interdisciplinary perspective, including religious, political, and socio-economic considerations.
In terms of citations for your essay, you can use MLA or the citation method you use in your respective discipline. Most importantly, is that your citations are consistent throughout the whole paper.”
