Please answer the following:
According to the “The Evolving Terrorist Threat:” article by Joshua Sinai, several examples of the types of warfare terrorists generally employ to achieve their objectives were listed. What were they and how does each empower the terrorist?
According to Gerstein, general agreement now exists that terrorists are “rational” actors. Their actions may not be understood by their victims or the governments and law enforcement agencies that attempt to deal with these threats, but they are far from random irrational acts. Chose a side of this argument and support it with a minimum of three different references.
This is a 2 part question 1) Fully explain the CBRN agent threat posed by the group in the video “Rajneeshpuram: An Experiment to Provoke God” (the video can be found in the Week 4 Lesson); 2) and expound on if the key CBRN agent(s) threat they used in their actions is or is not a threat to our homeland today. Base your answer to the second part of the question upon additional research you conduct from the Internet or other reliable sources.
Fully explain the threat posed by 4th Generation (Novichuk) Chemical Weapons. How have they been used by the Russian government and what makes them different from previous types of chemical weapons. Your answers should be based upon class readings and additional research you conduct from the Internet or other reliable academic sources.
There are many questions surrounding the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is agreed upon by most that the origins are from Wuhan, China. Based upon your readings and other scholarly works (sorry no conspiracy theories), is it possible that the COVID-19 outbreak was a purposeful act? Would it be possible for a terrorist group to recreate the damage caused by this pandemic using a Biological Weapon?
Technical Requirements
Your paper must be at a minimum of 5 pages (the Title and Reference pages do not count towards the minimum limit). Each answer must be a minimum of one full page.
Scholarly and credible references should be used. A good rule of thumb is at least 2 scholarly sources per page of content.
Type in Times New Roman, 12 point and double space.
Students will follow the current APA Style as the sole citation and reference style used in written work submitted as part of coursework.
Points will be deducted for the use of Wikipedia or encyclopedic type sources. It is highly advised to utilize books, peer-reviewed journals, articles, archived documents, etc.
All submissions will be graded using the assignment rubric.

my last name begin W
For this discussion thread, we are going to simulate a virtual town hall.
The Scenario: The city council has approved a plan to build a nuclear power plant in your city. A small group of residents are against the plan. They are going to meet with city council members to discuss their concerns.
For the purposes of this discussion thread, you will play the part of either a city council member or a member of the public.
If your last name begins with A-M: You are a resident against the nuclear power plant. Prepare a brief statement that you will share with the city council outlining your primary reason for opposing the plan. (Be sure to view the thread first and be sure to share original content). Link to sources that support your statement.
If your last name begins with N-Z: You are a city council member who supports the nuclear power plant. Prepare a brief statement in support of the development of a nuclear power plant. Be specific and link to sources that support your statement.
For full credit, create a second post in response to an opposing view. In a debate or discussion, people often argue from different points of view. If an argument is very convincing to you, you can let the other person know that you agree with their point or that you accept that their point is true.

The idea of sending people to Mars in hopes of colonizing the planet has long been out of the realm of possibilities but big thinkers like Elon Musk are determined to keep trying.
Why is Mars considered so inhospitable?
What would be needed to ensure humans could survive on Mars? In particular, where would we get our food, our oxygen, our water and our energy?
If you were tasked with sending people to Mars, give a time-line of how they would get there, what would they bring, how long would they stay and what advice you would give anyone who wanted to go?

Hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking”, is the process of drilling and injecting fluid into the ground at a high pressure in order to fracture shale rocks to release natural gas inside. In 2000, shale beds provided just 1 percent of America’s natural gas supply. Today, nationally, fracking produces two-thirds (67 percent) of the natural gas in the United States, according to the US Energy Information Administration, and 50% the nation’s oil.
But are the environmental costs too steep?
Fracking has become quite a contentious issue. Take a stand and defend whether you support or oppose fracking. A few questions to consider:
Is fracking a solution to our energy problem?
Do shale reserves mean security for US and its oil and gas industry
Does fracking threaten our groundwater? Or is there no evidence of groundwater contamination?
Does fracking cause earthquakes?
Does fracking threaten public safety and health?
How is fracking regulated?
What is the water footprint of fracking?
To earn all 5 points available for this discussion, address some of the points above AND comment on a peer’s post.

The summative assessment for this course has two parts. In Project One, you will conduct a research investigation that examines an issue in the social sciences. You will identify appropriate resources for investigating the issue you select, use these resources to apply social science principles to the issue, and develop a question related to the issue. In addition, you will identify an audience who would be interested in the selected issue. In Project Two, you will develop a presentation for the audience you identified in Project One. In your presentation, you will explain how social scientific thinking has affected you and discuss the impact of the issue on your audience, supporting your claims with evidence.
Project One addresses the following course outcomes:
Illustrate the impact of social scientific thinking on personal and professional experiences
Select appropriate and relevant social science resources in investigating contemporary issues in the social sciences
Communicate effectively to specific audiences in examining fundamental aspects of human behavior
Apply essential principles of the social sciences in addressing critical questions related to human behavior
Prompt
In Project One, you will select a contemporary issue in the social sciences to investigate. After selecting an issue, you will conduct a research investigation, identifying appropriate resources for researching the issue, applying social science principles to your issue, and developing a question related to the issue. (My issue is ” THE EFFECTS OF WAR ON FAMILY ANS SOCIETY”) You will submit your research investigation as a written report. specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:
Introduction: In this section, you will discuss your social science issue and select resources that you can use to research the issue. Specifically, you should do the following:Describe the issue in the social sciences that you have selected to investigate. Why is this issue significant?
Describe at least three social science resources that you could use to investigate the issue you selected. Your sources must be relevant to your issue and must be of an academic nature appropriate for the issue. In your description, consider questions such as these: What are the similarities and differences in the content of your sources? What makes them appropriate and relevant for investigating your issue? What was your thought process when you were searching for sources? How did you make choices?
Body: In this section, you will use the social science resources that you selected to investigate your issue, focusing on an appropriate audience and the social science principles related to the issue. Be sure to cite your sources. Based on your research, address the following:Identify the social science principles that apply to your issue. In other words, which principles of social science apply to the issue you selected?
Explain how the principles you identified apply to your issue. In other words, how are the social science principles you identified relevant to your issue?
Identify an audience that would be interested in your issue. For example, who would benefit most from hearing your message? Or who could best help in addressing the issue?
Describe how and why you can tailor your message to your audience, providing specific examples. For example, will your audience understand social scientific terminology and principles, or will you need to explain these? How will you communicate effectively with your audience?
Conclusion: In this section, you will conclude your research investigation by discussing future directions for research. Specifically, you should do the following:Based on your investigation, develop a research question related to the issue you selected. In other words, what would you like to know more about?
Explain how a social scientist would go about investigating the research question you developed. In other words, what would the next steps be if a social scientist were to continue researching your question?
Provide a reference list that includes all of the social science resources you used to investigate your issue and question. Ensure that your list is formatted according to current APA guidelines (or another format with instructor permission).
