According to the “The Evolving Terrorist Threat:” article by Joshua Sinai, several examples of the types of warfare terrorists generally employ to achieve their objectives were listed. What were they and how does each empower the terrorist?
According to Gerstein, general agreement now exists that terrorists are “rational” actors. Their actions may not be understood by their victims or the governments and law enforcement agencies that attempt to deal with these threats, but they are far from random irrational acts. Chose a side of this argument and support it with a minimum of three different references.

There are many questions surrounding the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is agreed upon by most that the origins are from Wuhan, China. Based upon your readings and other scholarly works (sorry no conspiracy theories), is it possible that the COVID-19 outbreak was a purposeful act? Would it be possible for a terrorist group to recreate the damage caused by this pandemic using a Biological Weapon?

The idea of sending people to Mars in hopes of colonizing the planet has long been out of the realm of possibilities but big thinkers like Elon Musk are determined to keep trying.
Why is Mars considered so inhospitable?
What would be needed to ensure humans could survive on Mars? In particular, where would we get our food, our oxygen, our water and our energy?

Hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking”, is the process of drilling and injecting fluid into the ground at a high pressure in order to fracture shale rocks to release natural gas inside. Fracking has become quite a contentious issue. Take a stand and defend whether you support or oppose fracking. A few questions to consider:
Is fracking a solution to our energy problem?
Do shale reserves mean security for US and its oil and gas industry
Does fracking threaten our groundwater? Or is there no evidence of groundwater contamination?
Does fracking cause earthquakes?
Does fracking threaten public safety and health?
How is fracking regulated?
What is the water footprint of fracking?
