For example, let’s say you choose the persuasive topic of motivating your team.  Your PowerPoint would include a background, tips for how to motivate your team, the benefits of doing so, why it is important, how this will help your business, recommendations on how your audience can begin doing this, and your references used.  (Note: please do not use the “motivating your team” topic for your presentation, as it is the example given here).  Brainstorm a persuasive business topic, and email me if you need input on selecting your topic.  I would be glad to help.
The assignment contains the following parts, all of which must be delivered in a PowerPoint presentation:

Note – The Case Study must contain and be based upon legal definitions and not personal opinions.  Stated facts or legal definitions without references will not count.  In this Case Study, you must reference the e-text chapter for each of your definitions or answers.  If you conduct research outside of the e-text, you must show those references at the bottom of the submission using a header – References.  Internet research must be either historically framed or created since 2020.  Any reference prior to 2020 must be explained regarding its connection to the legal premise.
Go to chapter 20, page 454 in our textbook.  Read the case at the end of the chapter titled: “Practice and Review: Employment Law” featuring Aimer Winery.  Then, answers questions 1-4 regarding the case.  Label your answers 1-4 respectively. No need to retype the questions, only provide your answers.  
Your responses should be in complete sentences (not just “yes” or “no”) and clearly explain the rationale for your answers. Reference the information provided in the chapter and textbook.  See Grading Rubric below.

If you remember from our readings, economic disparities are a difference in measures of economic well-being among individuals within the community. What does your community reflect? Analyze the relationship between your community’s health care disparities and the financial well-being of the healthcare industry in the area and availability of healthcare. In other words, how much healthcare is available based on a community’s wealth? You can either generalize the discussion or use a specific geographical area as your example. For example, I could discuss the topics generally on a federal level. Or, I could discuss this information based on my home town.

For our class, you will be utilizing the SWOT to analyze an economic legislative change.  The link in your readings is one of the best resources that I have found to help you with this project. Do Not use the American Healthcare Act [the ACA/Obama care etc.] for this assignment. The ACA is our healthcare system. You want to look at current legislation [current law] having an impact on our healthcare system. Any SWOT completed on the ACA or proposed legislation will not be accepted.
Please make sure the legislation is an economic legislation [law] document that you are analyzing.  For example, antitrust laws, CARES act, HIPAA, HITECH, CHIP, Anti-human trafficking, specific tax laws, any commonsense law such as Click it or ticket or need to be age 21 to buy alcohol or tobacco are all good examples of economic legislation to review and analyze. I would suggest matching the law to the facility. For example, if you are using St. Jude’s hospital, the newest version of the CHIP law would be a good match.
A few tips: Be sure to use in text citations for writing the description of the legislation and have a reference page.  A suggestion would be to use the same legislation for your SWOT and milestone 2. Complete the SWOT first then write milestone 2 as you will be able to better answer the milestone questions.
For those who have trouble with charts: You may copy and paste this example into your paper and fill out based on your chosen economic legislation.  Do not use direct quotes. Summarize the information for the paragraph description and cite. The bullet points in the SWOT do not need cited as that is your analysis of the legislation.
Add a short paragraph that defines an economic policy that affects the American Health Care act AKA Obama care. Name the economic policy, then describe what this specific policy is supposed to do. Do you know that March 20 is International Day of Happiness? Let’s try to find happiness in the global landscape. The annual World Happiest Report has just released the rank of the country happiness. Originally launched in 2012, it is an annual survey by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the United Nations. It looks at the state of global happiness in approximately 150 countries, ranking countries using the Gallup World Poll and six factors: levels of GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom and corruption income.

Choose two countries that are ranked higher than the United States this year, research these two countries (factors such as political, economic, social, technological, cultural, legal, etc.) and identify the reasons why their residents are so happy. 
In the same article, India is ranked as one of the top 20 unhappiest countries in 2023. Being the second-most populous country in the world (after China), India is well known for its increasing physical prosperity and cultural dynamism. Research the country and find the reasons the country is listed as one of the least happy countries.
The U.S. has moved up one spot, from #16 in 2022 to #15 in 2023. What can we do to make the country happier next year?
