Research case study student’s disability using at least three (3) sources.
Research student background, including
student’s demographic data
background/context (e.g., school, neighborhood, and classroom)
educational history (schools attended, reason for referral, pre-referral interventions, results of multidisciplinary evaluation, special education classification, placement)
IEP goals and objectives, classroom accommodations
observational information (at least two class periods of observations specifically related to IEP goals, objectives, and accommodations)
teacher interviews (related to IEP goals, objectives, accommodations, and any other relevant issues that may not be included on the IEP)
Additional recommendations, educational accommodations, and/or modification
Prepare a presentation to include all the above information. Compare the instructional strategies used and case study student’s characteristics with those described in the textbook or other research, i.e., Which characteristics and instructional strategies were identified in your student? Integrate at least three (3) sources from the literature with what you observed in your case study.)
