Task: Students will create a teaching intervention about a topic or population of interest selected from the “Healthy People 2030” list in the Fieldwork Module. (MY TOPIC IS PROMOTING BREAST FEEDING). This teaching intervention will be submitted as a professional paper discussing the project steps including the background & purpose of the project, the topic, clientele or population of interest, introduction of a community agency that works with the population (or topic) including its mission, goals, and services, details of the teaching project, and how the project will benefit the agency and the population of interest. It may be helpful to use headings throughout the paper (based on the rubric) to ensure you don’t exclude important information. The paper will consist of a title page and references page and be written using the APA (7th Edition) standards. An abstract is not required. The final paper should be no more than 5 pages (not including the title page and references page).
