This 4-7 page paper will be a proposal for implementing trauma-informed approaches into the organization or corporation that you indicated in week 4. The paper should include an introduction, a detailed description of the location that you chose in week 4, research-based recommended changes to make it more trauma-informed, and a conclusion.
I will be uploading my proposal for the essay topic. They are an open nonprofit organization that are catered to girls. The organization that I would consider doing would be EWOE ( Elite Women of Excellence). I have personally been apart of this group and so has my sister. This is a group of young ladies from the ages of I believe 10 years old all the way through high school. This program helps young women with their self esteem, job opportunities, career goals, and then getting closer to God. They are located in Georgia in the Smyrna, Marietta area. There are some girls that have gone through abuse but never knew how to handle it, and I feel as though if this group was trauma informed it could make the organization a lot better, but also give the girls who do not have a safe place for this to become their safe haven.
