Collaborative Memo

https://open.library.okstate.edu/technicalandprofessionalwriting/

Prepare a message in memorandum format addressed to your instructor explaining the process you will follow to select one or two classmates or fellow workers with whom to work to form a collaborative writing team. You might work on selected assignments such as the proposal, progress report, or the investigative/feasibility report.  You do not have to work with anyone actually but hypothetically for this assignment as you would in industry or in upper-class projects. Think about characteristics in the individuals you would select such as intellectual capacity, motivation, enthusiasm, timeliness, perseverance, etc.  You should address how you would select your team and a little about how you would get started on a project. Review your syllabus for Week 3, Chapters 3, 5, 6 in your e-book, and any Discussion notes posted to Discussion 3 by your instructor.

Review Chapter 3 again. See topics in Discussion link or Week 2.Read: Chapter 5, Document Design,” pp. 95-143. See topics and discussion notes in Discussion link, Week 3.Read: Chapter 6, “Emails, Memos, and Texting,”pp. 146-170. See topics and discussion notes in Dicsussion link, Week 3.Assignment 3: Collaborative Memorandum. Due March 6, 2022.Instructions: Prepare an e-mail message to your instructor in memorandum format explaining the process you might use to select one or two classmates or co-workers with whom to work to form a collaborative writing team for working together on selected assignments or projects. Assignments such as the Progress Report, the Proposal, and the Feasibility/Analytical Report may be prepared with a small team not to exceed three people. This is a hypothetical scenario. You are not actually required to work in teams for assignments in this class. In this assignment you should address: (1) charateristics you require in a teammate, (2) the process you would use (how) to select teammates with whom to work. Review Chapter 6 for how to prepare a memorandum (a common business document). Save your document and attach it to an e-mail to your instructor.
