below are some reasons why i am looking to become a nurse pracritioner in the mental health field
bachelors degree in psychology influenced my decision in wanting to work in mental health after this i worked in a home choice program at new avenues to independence where i had the opportunity to work with individuals with mental health illnesses and help them transition into the community living on their own or in group home.
i believe a lot of people dont have access to mental health providers and i would love to be able to reach more individuals in all communities.
i believe that in caring for this population it is more then prescribing medications but i get to provide other therapeutic areas
veteran population on mental health (reasons why they are in need)
my end goal for this is to establish a program for these individuals where they can live as normal lives as possible
