Questions:
1. Define “sustainable development.” (reference your resource)
2. Pick & discuss one of the areas the presenter discusses (green waste, renewable energy, zero waste, closed loop production, or local living economy) and find a research article (through the TCC Library databases – scholarly and peer-reviewed) that focuses on this area. Summarize their findings and then add one idea of your own on how to support the area you researched (green waste, renewable energy, zero waste, closed loop production, or local living economy) to help build more sustainable communities.
3. What were your thoughts/opinions about the Populist Nationalism video? How might populist nationalism impact social sustainability here in the U.S. and in other parts of the world? Discuss how anthropologists might support or help in the process of building sustainable development in the future.
