Describe your process – did hearing two sounds together inspire you to do something different as you went along? Did you change anything as you went? Why?

this week you’ll give writing some experimental music a try! It’s as easy as signing up for a free account at www.bandlab.com and using your computer’s microphone. You can use some of the sounds you mentioned in Week 6, or you can create new sounds. I would encourage you to use everyday objects, and/or your own voice to make the sounds. Here is a video explaining how to use the website and how to record & create. If you have other software or web-based app you already know how to use, feel free to use that instead!
Create an experimental piece of music with everyday objects and sounds (including your own voice). Use at least three different sounds, but you can use as many as you want. Feel free to loop or go as long as you want to, but try for at least 30 seconds.
Give your piece a title!
List and describe the sounds you used in your experimental piece. Why did you choose these particular sounds?

If you feel comfortable doing so, please share your composition in your post.
In your opinion, now that you have done your own experimental composition, what do you think is the value in experimenting with sound like this? How does this expand your own creativity? Would you do it again? How does it relate to experimenting in other art forms, such as visual art, dance, writing, etc?
