Objectives:
Identify & assess liabilities within the entertainment industry and create strategies to reduce or eliminate these risks
Research and analyze published court opinions that currently impact a variety of industry concerns and apply the court rulings to create a business strategy to avoid future litigation
Instructions:
Identify five legal liabilities that might apply to your business.  Include a brief explanation, in your own words, about why your business would be prone to each of these liabilities. Keep in mind that you will focus on one of these liabilities for your final research paper.
List an actual court case (i.e. a written opinion by a judge deciding the outcome of the lawsuit) for each liability that is directly associated with that liability topic.  Additionally, give a short summary (2-3 sentences) of the case in your own words. For each case, include the case name, court, and year of decision. Be sure to cite any quotes or paraphrases you use from outside sources in APA format, even if your source is the court case you are listing.
Deliverables:
A detailed outline of legal liabilities your company may face within the industry, identification five decided court opinions and a brief summary of each of the five judicial opinions.  Remember to comply with APA requirements and include proper cover page and references page.
