Final Project Assignment 2
The second step towards the final project is to create a checklist and a set of guidelines
that you would like to use to help you with the user interface design.
For Project Assignment 2. Complete the following:
1. Explore the links in Week 7. If needed, conduct your own search to identify more
design guidelines.
2. I have already provided a checklist for website design guidelines in the previous
weeks. Your task is to summarize the most important App or website UI design
guidelines (depending on whether you are creating an app or website) and create
an “UI Design Guideline” and “UI Design Checklist”
3. You will be using these guidelines and checklists when developing your app or
website and use the checklist for the final evaluation of your product.
4. Make sure that the guidelines and checklists are general and not specific to any
particular platform (i.e. Android or Apple)
5. Your Design Guidelines must include items for people with disabilities.
6. Your checklist must include few checklist items for people with disabilities.
7. Your one document must be divided into two sections, “UI Design Checklist” and
“UI Design Guideline”.
8. Turn in:
a. A “UI Design Checklist” and “UI Design Guideline” with a cover sheet
containing:
i. Your name
ii. Title of the Project
iii. Name of the course: CEN3722
iv. Professor Name: Dr. Giti Javidi
v. Name of the assignment: Final Project Assignment 2
vi. Date: Fall 2021
