· Option 1: Case Study 4.1: From Two to One (p. 87).  Read the case study provided in our text and use the questions on p. 88 to frame your discussion.  While the case study focuses on the challenges presented to a small business owner, the scenario is not unlike that which many principals have faced in recent years.  Think of Mark as the school principal faced with the dilemma of budget cuts and declining enrollment.  Dan and Asher could easily be assistant principals or team leaders whose positions are on the chopping block.   Does placing this story in a school setting change your thinking?  Why or why not?
