How to Analyze Nursing Case Studies Using Scholarly Sources and APA Style

Students much review the case study and answer all questions with a scholarly response using APA and include 2 scholarly references. Answer the  case studies on the same document and upload 1 document to Moodle.

The answers must be in your own words with reference to the journal or book where you found the evidence to your answer. Do not copy-paste or use a past students work as all files submitted in this course are registered and saved in turn it in program.

Include the following:

  • Briefly introduce the case study.

  • State the purpose: to analyze the case using scholarly sources and APA format.

🔍 Step 3: Answer Each Question Clearly and Separately

Use clear subheadings for each question or case study number. For each question:

  1. Restate the question briefly.

  2. Answer in your own words using course knowledge and scholarly references.

  3. Cite at least one scholarly source (journal article or academic book) within your response.

  4. Avoid websites. Use academic databases like PubMed, CINAHL, or Google Scholar.

Example:

Question 1: What are the early cellular changes associated with the disease?
The initial cellular changes include inflammation and cellular damage caused by an overactive immune response (Smith & Jones, 2021). These changes are visible through histological analysis and correlate with symptom progression.

  • Continue using the same structure for each question.

  • Use 1–2 paragraphs per question, depending on the complexity.
