Some common causes of construction disputes are: differing site conditions, engineering design errors, unclear contract terms, scope changes, budget & schedule overruns, quality of construction, and payment terms but there are many other causes. Many times, they can be resolved among the project team but at times, require the legal process which may include mediation, arbitration, or going to court.
