develop a research agenda and write a 12-15 page paper. This research project centers on the experiences of Black women within the Catholic Church, investigating their roles, perspectives, and challenges within the context of Catholic teachings on sexuality and morality. Through an intersectional lens that considers the interplay of race, gender, and faith, the study aims to illuminate how Black women navigate and negotiate their identities and beliefs within the Catholic tradition. By exploring the ways in which Black women engage with and potentially resist dominant narratives surrounding sexuality and morality, the research seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexities of both religious identity and social justice within the Catholic Church. Through qualitative inquiry and analysis, this project seeks to amplify the voices and experiences of Black women in the Catholic community, shedding light on their contributions and struggles in shaping the ethical landscape of their faith.
