You will include two types of data visualization elements in your project:
Type 1: Data will be analyzed first and then visualized;
Type 2: Data will be visualized first, then visual analytics will be applied to it.
The goal of this phase of the project is to demonstrate that you have conducted an analysis for each type of visualization, i.e. data analysis for elements of Type 1, and visualizations for elements of Type 2.
Submit a short report on the story structure, description of the data sources, data preparation and analysis, and the description of the future visualizations (for Type 1), and visualizations (for visual analytics – Type 2). The actual visual analysis will be due at Phase 3 (the Final Report in Unit 8).
You are encouraged to use Tableau and/or Python to create data visualization.
