ACTIVITY: Final Paper Part 7 – Introduction & Conclusion / APA Style & Formatting
This is a 2-part activity. First you will write 2 paragraphs, then you will learn about APA Formatting.(1) First, you will write the introduction and conclusion paragraphs for your final paper. Each will be a separate paragraph with five sentences summarizing your final paper. Follow the template (below) and include a thesis statement.
(2) Second, you will learn about APA style and formatting, which is required for your final paper. For this part of the assignment, you will watch educational videos, visit instructional websites, discover scholarly resources, and learn about APA formatting. Once you have completed the activities, please write a brief paragraph acknowledging that you have completed the coursework. Include notes of a few things you learned. Use the template below and type your submission into the text box here.

ACTIVITY #1 Introduction & Conclusion Paragraphs
Write 2 paragraphs. Each paragraph must be 5 sentences long. It is a summary of your final paper, which includes your Module 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 Activities. the. activities are attached. The focus of your final paper is to demonstrate that you understand the concepts of a mortgage loan application, and can explain the advantages of various financing scenarios. These paragraphs are personal to YOU and should not be theoretical in nature. Please pull out your submissions for your Module 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 Activities and review each of them in preparation for the final paper. IntroductionThe first paragraph will be your introduction to the final report. Write in complete sentences to summarize the knowledge you gained in this class: What does this report cover? Write one sentence each to summarize the major sections of the paper: My Qualifications, Financing Scenario, Borrower Qualifications, Loan Application, and Recommended Loan Program. Lastly, write a thesis statement that shows you have confidence in your ability to expertly analyze a mortgage loan situation. For example: “This mortgage report demonstrates that I have the capability to assess a borrower’s mortgage loan application.”
ConclusionThe second paragraph will be your conclusion for the final report. Write in complete sentences. Re-state the thesis statement from the introduction. Recap the major sections of the paper, just like you did in the introduction, except use slightly different words.
Do not use any sources, citations, or references in the introduction or the conclusion paragraphs. It must be all your own original work.

IntroductionThis report highlights my knowledge and qualifications, including both my education and experience with mortgage lending. This report analyzes a financing scenario for borrowers Mickey and Minnie Mouse. In addition, their borrower qualifications are detailed, including credit score, income amount, and work history. Their completed 1003 loan application is included in Appendix A, along with an explanation in the report. Lastly, I recommend the FHA loan program for these borrowers, and explain the advantages and disadvantages. This mortgage loan report demonstrates that I have the capability to accurately assess a borrower’s mortgage loan application in a professional manner.
ConclusionAs detailed in this report, I am confident that I can comprehend and complete the 1003 mortgage loan application correctly, due to my knowledge and skills. In this report, I analyzed a loan financing scenario for the borrowers. Next, I highlight their borrower qualifications, including FICO credit score, income and expenses, as well as work history. The Mouses’ loan application is explained, and then illustrated in Appendix A. In conclusion, after reviewing advantages and disadvantages of various loan programs, I recommend the FHA loan program for these borrowers. This report demonstrates my knowledge and skills in the mortgage lending industry.
APA Style & Formatting ReviewAfter reading the articles and watching the video presentations, I learned several new things about APA formatting. I found out the final paper will need to be written in Times New Roman 12 point font and double-spaced. I also made a note to check my paper using Grammarly and spell-check before submitting it.
