Identify a population that may benefit from human services programming provided by different service agencies (e.g., developmental disabilities, child welfare, substance abuse, families experiencing domestic violence, etc.). Provide some background on this population, including relevant characteristics and specific challenges experienced by these individuals and their families. Identify and detail human services systems of care at the local or state (only if not available locally) level directing their services to this population, and provide a thoughtful discussion on the nature of
collaboration among these entities and adequacy of these systems of care. In other words, you’ll need to envision how these services may need coordination (e.g., does a single entry point exist? Is there case management available for these individuals and families to get assistance? How might you change the state of affairs with regard to current systems of care available to this population?). In essence, you will describe the system as is and will also provide an overview of how to optimize the system of care so that it serves families properly. This assignment should be 8-10 pages in length (excluding cover page, abstract and references) and must be submitted in APA 7th edition style.
