To complete the current event assignments, students must write three posts (each is worth 8 points). In each post, read a newspaper article (from any acceptable source listed at the end of this instruction) that connect with topics we discuss and read about in class, write a summary of the article (1 paragraph), define the concept you think is applicable (1 sentence) and state why this article illustrates the concept that is discussed in the field of comparative politics (1 paragraph). Articles must be published within 10 days of the due date AND cannot focus on the United States. In other words, you must use articles that cover current events outside of the United States. You must provide a citation for the article at the bottom of your posts.
