Final Program Plan Instructions
After reading the text, completing discussion forums,completing Program Plan Assignments, and receiving feedback from both peers and your instructor, it is time to finalize yourprogram plan/proposal.(NOTE: this is your final assessment, and you may not redo this assignment. All grades are final. Late assignments will not be accepted).
You should already have everything you need to successfully complete this assignment. Note: You are not creating a new project for this assignment. You are finalizing the program plan you have been working on throughout the entire semester.
This is a comprehensive program plan that you can present to your organization, however, you do not actually need to present it or deliver it to your organization, but you can if you wish.
Please keep in mind that it should be in a professional format as you are developing the plan for your organization. Please use spell and grammar check. Double check for any formatting errors. Hint: Have a friend or one of your classmates’ proof-check it before submission.
Also, keep in mind that the plan should include everything that your organization would need know to successfully carry out the program without you.
You may choose to present your final project in any way that you feel most comfortable. For example, you may choose to create a report, a PowerPoint presentation, a website, a poster board, or another format. Think about how you could best summarize your program and present and/or “sell” your idea to your organization. Be creative!Note: For this assignment, you may not write answers on the instruction worksheet.
You cansummarizeeach area identified below into 1-2 paragraphsor on 1-2 slides each (or another format) using your program plan assignment worksheets as a guide. Attachments are allowed.

• Provide a brief introduction of the agency/organization—include where it is located; who it serves (target markets); its vision, mission, and philosophy, approach to programming. This could also include such things as core values, staffing structure, facilities, programobjectives, and so on. (5 points)
• Briefly describe the community or geographic area the program is going to serve. Whatare the needs of the community and the targeted population? Document these needs and/or trends. Discusshow other organizations in the service area are or are not meeting these needs. How can the agency/organization meet these needs or respond to trends through the overall program you are proposing?(5points)
• Present an overview of the results of your program audit. What is the organization doing well? What opportunities do you see for the organization? Provide suggestions for a comprehensive on-going or re-occurring recreational-type program within a specific timeframe. (5 points)
• Provide a brief introduction/overview of the proposed program—This should include a section about the reasons for the program, how theprogram addresses and fits into the organizational vision, mission, core values, target markets, and the needs of the people it services. (5 points)
• State the goals and objectives of the program. You must use the ABCDs of Writing Behavioral Objectives as described on pgs. 208-210. (5 points)
• Identify the benefits that you want your program to provide and describe how you can best foster those benefits in your program delivery. (5 points)
• Include the following:
✓ Provide the sequence of activities/schedule(as appropriate) – must include 24-hours of contact time. (10 points)
✓ Provide a detailed description of each activity (as appropriate) (5 points)
✓ List the facilities, supplies, and equipment needed to carry out the program – be specific, use quantities. (5 points)
✓ List the policies, procedures, and rules for the program. (5 points)
✓ Identify any risk management concerns for the program and briefly discuss how they will be addressed. (5 points)
✓ Present the basic budget and pricing model you have created for the program in Program Plan Assignment #3, Step 8. (15 points)
o List all costs for the program (identify all indirect and direct costs (fixed and variable) in a table. (2.5/15 points)
o Provide acost-volume-profit table that includes acost per/participant line.(2.5/15 points)
o Present ideas for any pricing differentials. (2/15 points)
o Present ideas of alternative funding possibilities.(2/15 points)
o Identify the possible partners or collaborators with whom you could work in delivering the program. Outline the potential advantages and disadvantages of collaborating on the project with others. (2/15 points)
o Present the price that will be charged to eachparticipant and reasons why you have selected that price. Be sure to include any factors that you considered in setting this price (e.g., emerging trends, psychological issues, needs, comparison of similar programs in the community, etc.).(2/15 points)
o Clearly indicate the break-even point (you must show your math).(2/15 points)
✓ Include all promotional materials including the social media ad or news release that you developed for the program. (5 points)
✓ Indicate the methods that will be used to register people for the program (2.5 points)
✓ Discuss how you are going to build expectations prior to the program. (2.5 points)
✓ Provide a detailed plan for facilitating the event.(12points)
