ScenarioFor this assignment, you will create an action plan with strategies to support collaborative home, school, and family partnerships. You will have the opportunity to assess your families’ interests and needs and determine appropriate actions based on your assessment, if you are currently working in an early childhood setting. If you are not working in an early childhood setting, you will be able to design a survey for future use and create an action plan of your own choosing.
InstructionsPart One – Research and Data
Create a survey using Google Form that contains the following:
Develop 10 questions to assess the enrolled families’ interests and needs.
Use a variety of question types:
Open-Ended
Mulitple Choice
Linear Scale
Checkboxes
Dropdown
Explain how these questions will collect information on families’ interests and needs.
Copy and paste the link to your survey into the action plan.
Part Two – Selection of Initiative
Once you have completed your survey, determine which one of the following initiatives needs to be implemented (select one from below):
Parent/family-school committee
New program
Series of separate activity events
Part Three – Implementation of Initiative
Explain the selected initiative and how it will address families’ interests and needs.
Determine what steps you will take to implement initiative components.
Part Four – Future Planning and Evaluation of Initiative
Explain how you will sustain this new initiative. How would you involve new families?
Describe how you will evaluate and adapt this initiative in the future.
