The assignment is to choose one of the areas below to do a short research project for a little more in depth look at just one aspect of investigation techniques. The idea is for each of you to teach us something more specific about one tool/technique. For example, if you choose data analysis, find one tool that is being used to uncover fraud other than Benford’s Law or if you choose hard to get evidence you might research how does one get a subpoena? If you find a specific case where that tool was used, include it in your presentation, but this is not required and can be difficult, so don’t spend too much time looking.
