This assignment is the final of three that you will complete for the qualitative methodology portion of our course. As with the previous quantitative assignments, these qualitative assignments will build upon one another and inform the final PowerPoint presentation. Instead of working in a group to complete these assignments, you will work individually, pretending that I am your co-researcher. Together we are designing a qualitative study. The purpose of our qualitative study is to develop an in-depth understanding of the relationship between Florida professional social work exam pass rates and associated demographic-based disparities therein, and filed Florida legislation proposing to create an interstate compact for social workers. To achieve the stated purpose, we will address the following two research questions:
RQ #1: What similarities, differences, and contradictions emerge within and/ or between the filed HB 99 and SB 68 documents and the 2022 Association of Social Work Boards Pass Rate Analysis?
RQ #2: How do the Florida legislators who filed HB 99 and SB 68 understand the relationship between the proposed social work interstate compact policy and current trends in Florida exam pass rate data?
