Regardless of your position on learning and teaching, creating a learning philosophy will force you to think through and define your beliefs about learning and your role in creating significant learning environments.

Consider your collaborative discussions and use the resources listed above as starting points in crafting your learning philosophy which will require you to consider a different set of questions. Your learning philosophy should include but not be limited to:
Beliefs about learning in general.
Beliefs about the relationship between teaching and learning.
Beliefs about myself as a learner.
Beliefs on the difference between a learning philosophy vs a teaching philosophy.
Are you a Constructivist, Behaviorist, Cognitivist, or something else and why do you identify with this learning theory? Who is the main theorist of your identified theory?
Connection to one or more learning theories to support your position.
A well-developed annotated bibliography (minimum 3-4 sentences) to highlight the resources that you reviewed and which influenced your philosophy. *Updated
You will also need to address how your learning philosophy impact or influence your innovation plan and your role as a change agent?
Please note: This is your learning philosophy so please don’t restrict yourself to one or two pages that are often the guideline for a teaching philosophy. Your learning philosophy needs to be as long as it needs to be. Also consider your learning philosophy a living document because you will return to it often and make revisions; so your best format is a text-based post or page on your ePortfolio.

This assignment is unique to you, your circumstances, and your organization so you need to determine who your audience is, why and how they will use this information, and what impact you are looking to make. Your instructor is not your audience so you need to write this perspective for those who you hope will eventually be collaborating with you.
