Respond to each of the following questions over course content ranging from Power and Citizenship, to Federalism, and The Struggle for Equal Rights. Statements should reflect your own opinions, but should be supported with information from our course textbook (Keeping the Republic), as well as support from other primary sources to enhance legitimacy.
1) Where do you think more action needs to emerge from within our evolving government to address climate change concerns (i.e., more and more regions of the USA will experience extreme weather conditions [e.g., drought, heat, storms, flooding, etc.] and government systems at all levels [e.g. local, State, Federal] are often recognized as necessary actors providing assistance in response)?
2) How should these government systems mentioned manage possible increases in “climate refugee” arrivals?
3) What impact will such actions have on the future of democracy?  Do you believe it would be critical that more people in the USA get involved in the democratic process to resolve these concerns, or less?  Do you foresee any specific groups/communities (i.e., based off ethnicity, gender, age, education levels, etc.) across the USA “championing” this cause?
4) What will your role be in relation to the conditions stated above?
