Write a 2-3 paragraph abstract for the foster care and juvenile justice research paper. Remember to include the 4 main parts of an abstract that we discussed in class: aims/objective; methods; results and conclusion. Use APA style for formatting and citations. Write your abstract in paragraph format, use double spacing, and do not indent the paragraphs. Since abstracts are normally one paragraph long and less than 250 words, this assignment is an extended version of an abstract. Do not exceed the limit of three (3) paragraphs.
After you have read and edited your abstract yourself, be prepared to share it with a classmate during our next class meeting. Print out your draft abstract, and have it ready to be edited by a classmate in class. Be sure that your name is on your abstract and also be sure to add your classmate’s name as the editor of your abstract. You will receive credit both for your abstract and for editing your classmate’s abstract. When you submit your final abstract on Webcampus, please also submit the draft of your classmate’s abstract that you edited (Note: you will receive credit as editor of the classmate’s abstract). I created separate assignments on WebCampus for your abstract and for the abstract you edited, so make sure to submit the assignments in the appropriate places.
