Discuss the differences you hear between the “swing,” “bebop,” and early “Latin Jazz” examples. These genres are very different from each other. It is a little ironic considering most all the bebop musicians careers started in the swing era playing in swing bands. In what ways is bebop different from swing? Why is bebop different than swing?
