Each student is required to read the Kozol book and write a 4 page review paper

Each student is required to read the Kozol book and write a 4 page review paper focusing on some aspect of the book (a particular chapter or theme). The paper should summarize the chosen aspect, and then provide some sort of analysis/interaction utilizing at least three concepts specific to urban sociology, as learned from class. The only sources required are Kozol’s book and the Flanagan textbook, but any additional sources should be cited and noted in the bibliography as well. The paper can be in whatever format corresponds to a student’s major (APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian, ASA), and should include a bibliography. The 4 page requirement applies to text only, and does not include any cover sheet or bibliography. This paper is worth 20% of your final course grade.
