This assignment requires students to demonstrate reading comprehension. Read the assigned materials for the week and then submit a summary that focus on, at least, three key concepts/key points/arguments discussed by the author(s). This is a three-paragraph essay (250-400 words), one paragraph for one concept/key point/argument identified. For this assignment:
Identify the main or the most important arguments/concepts/key points of the chapter (identify three of them).
Using specific example(s) from the assigned readings, discuss how the author(s) applied/explained the concepts/key points/main arguments (do the same for each of the three concepts/key points/arguments identified). Note that this is not a self-reflection paper, please, do not include your opinion or your personal/family experiences or critique of the readings or the author(s) in this essay.
Your paper should include at least one quote from each of the assigned readings. Use these quotes to identify what you believe to be the author’s main point or most important claim or to explain a key concept.
Note: Summary of Assigned Reading Paper Guidelines:
Your summary must be well organized, ideas must be fully developed and comprehensible. The chapter used in the assignment must be cited. Sources of recent/current/newsworthy events/issues must also be cited. Citation must follow APA style.
Make sure to have a separate paragraph for each of your identified concepts/key points. For example, you may start with a sentence, “The first concept identified in Chapter X is …. Or Chapter X describe the concept of … and application of ….”

Provide succinct summaries of three of the key points of each assigned reading or chapter.
Paper must be properly cited using APA style (• The paper must comply with APA Style 7th edition style and formatting standards)
