For this unit’s learning activity, we will discuss and describe a painting.
In the first part, you will discuss your favorite medium of painting.
In the second part, you will select a painting (in the same medium you discussed above) from an online museum or gallery. You will describe it using one of the approaches from the Study Guide (technical, historical, or observational).
Include two other artists working in a similar style, era, or subject matter as the artist of your painting and discuss the similarities.
Be sure to end your discussion of the painting with a question for your audience (that’s me!).
Use proper grammar and full sentences in your paper. Approach this assignment as if you are the artwork expert sharing your insights on the work.
At the end of your post, you should include a reference citation for where you found the artwork.
