This assignment provides an opportunity to illustrate your understanding of the institutional effects of the church’s alliance with the Carolingian Dynasty.
In a presentation of 10-13 slides (excluding title and reference slides) with speaker notes, create a PowerPoint that profiles Alcuin of York. Be sure to include the following:
His relationship to Charlemagne
His efforts in standardizing the Latin Bible
His liturgical standardization
Be sure to use appropriate language for the targeted audience (instructor). Use a variety of sentence constructions, figures of speech, and word choice in distinctive and creative ways that are appropriate to purpose, discipline, and scope.
Organize the content to provide the audience with a clear sense of the main idea.
Ensure the layout of the presentation is visually pleasing and contributes to the overall message with appropriate use of headings, subheadings, and white space. Text should be appropriate in length for the target audience and to the point. The background and colors should enhance the readability of the text.
Support your position by referencing at least three academic resources (preferably from the GCU Library) in addition to the topic Resources. Incorporate the research into your writing in an appropriate, scholarly manner.
