Materials you will need for this activity:
In this lab activity, you will use components of the island biogeography model to predict species richness on islands and provide reasoning to support island habitat conservation decisions. To make your model, you will need:
paper
colored pencils, crayons, or pens (suggested colors: black, red, green, yellow, blue) or a mix of writing utensils around your home
100 small items to act as migrating species (examples: beans, beads, rice, candy (any type), or small balls of scrap paper)
