Students will use their sociological imaginations, material covered throughout the semester, and two academic sources (i.e., academic books or peer-reviewed journal articles) published within the last ten years that are not on the syllabus to compose an essay that investigates ways in which their society/societies have impacted them on an individual level. Essays should be double-spaced pages in 12-point Times New Roman font. In addition to the 4-5 written pages, students should include a Works Cited page.
