Please read: Chapters 5 – Neglect, 6 – Abuse and Emotional Maltreatment and 7, Sexual Abuse given in the links below. The Chapter outlines will help you focus on what is important in these chapters. You will be exploring the differences between Neglect, Emotional Maltreatment and Abuse, causes and treatment, subjects that many of you have hoped to learn more about. Your discussion board assignment will have you developing a case presentation (your Discussion assignment this week) about neglect and abuse also utilizing the information you gained from Week Three on Child Welfare Workers.
