Your PowerPoint will highlight the issue discussed in the Quality and Safety Literature Review-Medication errors in Acute Care Settings. It will include an Executive Summary, Issues, Data, and Action Plan with a Timetable. The PPT would reflect what you would present to your institution’s Quality and Safety Review Board. The goal is to apply the new knowledge of continuous quality improvement(CQI) to a real-world problem and how it should be addressed to improve healthcare delivery quality and safety standards.
1.Executive summary or opening slide to tell the viewer the objective of the presentation (like the opening paragraph(s) of your paper.

10. Add information on time frames for conducting the CQI initiative, the barriers, and how the Core Competencies fit into the plan.
11. Closing comments, a wrap-up of critical concepts for the viewer (last slide before the reference slide).
12. Reference slide (on the actual individual slides, you can reference like intext citation).
Include at least three current peer-reviewed journal sources in your presentation. You must cite any information you use from these sources on the PowerPoint slides.
Plan – Objective(s), prediction(s) – what do you want to accomplish, e.g., educate staff on a certain medical condition, also discuss Who (who is on the CQI team), What, Where, and When, the timeline for data collection or education, or whatever you are doing. Need to have barriers to your CQI project – what do you think they are? This is so you are aware of them.
Do-Carry out the plan, but here you could say who is documenting the observations/recording data.
Study – In this area, state how you will analyze the data, compare results to predictions, and summarize what was learned (looking at Did it work?)
Act – What changes are to be made, next cycle, adapt/adopt or abandon – this is what’s next.
