I will attach the original SAD plan below. Here are the original sad plan directions: Part 1: Search on YouTube and find at least TWO videos on what the SAD (Standard American Diet) is. They are typically short….between 2-6 minutes. Take notes. Part 2: Open the “Unit 1 SAD Eating Plan word document below and follow the instructions. You must save your work as a microsoft office document or some sort of RTF document. I cannot open documents saved as a note pad file or the like. Once you know what the SAD diet refers to, open that SAD Eating Plan word document (see above), you will need to input the following food log into an online diet analysis program such as Calorie Count or MyFitnessPal. The rest of the SAD Eating Plan word document will ask you questions about what that diet analysis program SHOWED you about the SAD plan that you put into the program. Please create a profile based on your own age, weight, demographics, etc. From there, you should be able to find the supertracker/where to log the food. You should save your information so you can come back to it. You need to input the following eating plan. Do the best you can to input the information as closely as you can. Do not choose low cal, low sodium, or anything else YOU would choose. This eating plan should have about 2500-3000 Cal. If it does not, go back and make your portions bigger. Breakfast: 20 oz black coffee Lunch: 2 slices white bread + 1 oz. bologna + 1 Tbs. mayo + 1 Tbs mustard 32 oz. Mountain Dew 2 large chocolate chip cookies Snack: 1 oz Doritos 22 oz. Please peruse your program for this analysis/nutrient report. You will want a screen shot of this information. Once you have spent some time on this program, you will need to provide some information (you should open the “SAD Eating Plan” linked word doc above as it will tell you what you need to look for). Click on the link for the actual assignment then save your file as “your name SAD Eating Plan analysis, Section/Date”. so all in all follow all directions here and in word doc and fill out work doc.
